THIS PHOTO IS OF THE FRONT BRAKE OF MY PERSONAL 1963 BONNEVILLE. I DIDN'T WANT TO CHANGE THE BRAKE PLATE TO A DOUBLE-LEADING TYPE SO I MODIFIED THE ORGINAL SINGLE-LEADING SHOE BRAKE PLATE AND TURNED IT INTO A DOUBLE-LEADING SHOE [NARROW SHOE WIDTH]. IT NOW FUNCTIONS ALMOST AS WELL AS A WIDE-WIDTH [1968-1970] DOUBLE-LEADING SHOE TYPE.

THIS DOUBLE-LEADING SHOE TYPE [1969-1970] BRAKE PLATE ON MY PERSONAL 1966 BONNEVILLE HAS THE OUTSIDE RING CUT AND TURNED OFF OF IT. HIGHLY POLISHED, AS WOULD BE THE ORGINAL SINGLE-LEADING SHOE PLATE OF 66', IS AN EASY ALTERNATIVE FOR BRAKING IMPROVMENT AS WELL AS  DEPICTING THE ORIGINAL DIAMETER OF THE 1966 BRAKE PLATE
